Our Missions Philosophy

At the heart of our mission strategy is church planting.  On-going international projects are taking place in India, Nepal, Myanmar, South Asia, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, North Africa, South Africa,  and Uruguay . CUMMING, GA

Description:  Periodically throughout the year and on Christmas Eve day, conduct services and special events at the following Assisted Living communities: Lanier Place, The Gardens at Shiloh Point, The Manor, The Oaks at Post Road, Arbor Terrace and Addington Place.
When: Monthly and on Christmas Eve day
Cost:  None
Participants Needed:  No limit

NORTH AMERICA

Description: Partnering with the North American Mission Board, the Disaster Relief Logistics Team delivers pieces of equipment, such as mobile Communication Centers, shower trailers, clean-up trailers, etc., to natural disaster areas across the U.S.
When: When natural disaster occurs and the team is deployed
Cost:  None
Participants Needed:  No limit

HAITI

Description: Project for High School students.  Various service projects in the host church and community.
When:  April 2-8, 2018
Cost:  Contact the Student Ministry Office for details.
Participants Needed:  No limit

ALGERIA

Description: Partnering with Operation Mobilization, we will visit a new Redeemer Church at Akbou, Algeria.  We will also conduct various service projects in the community and lead in church services.
When: TBD
Cost:  Approximately $1,700.00.
Participants Needed:  4

BOSTON, MA

Description:   A Families on Mission Project. Partnering with the Encounter Church in Westwood, MA, we will serve the church and community in various ways, including distributing water bottles, canvassing neighborhoods, painting local playground, ministry to local schools, light maintenance, leading in services and much more.
When: July 14-20, 2018
Cost: Contact Missions Office for details.
Participants Needed:  30 Individuals

SOUTH AFRICA

Description: Partnering with the Baptist Union of Southern Africa, we will dedicate a new Redeemer Church in Port Elizabeth, will conduct various service projects in the community and lead in church services.
When:  August 6-14, 2018
Cost:  Approximately $2,700.
Participants Needed:  5

MOLDOVA

Description: Partnering with Operation Mobilization and the Baptist Union of Moldova, we will visit potential church plant sites in the mostly unreached area of northern Moldova, will conduct various service projects in the communities and lead in church services.
When:  September 10-18, 2018
Cost: Approximately $2,000.
Participants Needed:  5

RUSSIA

Description:  Partnering with Operation Mobilization, we will dedicate two new Redeemer Churches: in Ob and in Nalchik. We will also conduct various service projects in these communities and lead in church services.
When: October 15-25, 2018
Cost: Approximately $2,500.
Participants Needed:  5

PAKISTAN

Description: Partnering with Operation Mobilization, we will visit potential church plant sites in Faisalabad, Pakistan.  We will also conduct various service projects in the community.
When:  November 1-7, 2018
Cost:  Approximately $2,300.00.
Participants Needed:  4

URUGUAY

Description: Partnering with Operation Mobilization, we will work with our two Redeemer Churches, conducting various service projects in the community and leading in church services.
When: TBD
Cost:  Approximately $2,600.

INDIA

Description: Partnering with Hopegivers International, we will dedicate a new Redeemer Church in south India and will minister in existing Redeemer Churches, will minister in various orphanages, a leper colony, slum school and local churches.
When:  December 3-11, 2018
Cost:  Approximately $2,600.00.

DOMESTIC MISSIONS

Assisted Living: We partner with several Assisted Living communities in the Cumming area, helping to provide social and spiritual interaction with the residents.

Disaster Relief: Partnering with the North American Mission Board, we assist in various ways when there has been a major disaster somewhere within the United States. For more: www.namb.net/dr

Families on Mission: From grandparents to grandchildren and all in-between, Families on Mission provides meaningful opportunities for the entire family to serve others, while teaching a missions lifestyle to their children.
